You are browsing the website of the civil guard of Ostoros (Civil Guard Association for Ostoros). Our civil guard association has been serving the settlement since 1999, in cooperation with county and national bodies. The unit consists of uniformed volunteers who take part in police work in various fields such as public surveillance, patrolling, in some cases citizen’s arrests (only in flagrante delicto, retaining a person until the beginning of police action), crime prevention, assisting the local police. We are present in both visible and not visible form on the streets and administrative area of the settlement.
